Digital Learning at C.G.P.S.
At Courtenay Gardens Primary School, our students are encouraged to use technology tools to support their learning. Teachers encourage students to utilise a variety of tools appropriate to the learning task.
Each classroom is equipped with an interactive display, a shared fleet of laptop computers and iPads, and classes have access to a range of other devices to facilitate teaching and learning. These resources allow students to engage with content in dynamic and interactive ways, supporting their development of critical digital literacy skills.
We use Office365 as our collaboration software, enhancing learning through online collaboration in a safe and supportive environment. Each student receives a free license via their @schools email address while attending a Government school, giving them access to a wide range of Office365 tools such as Microsoft Teams, Word, PowerPoint, and SharePoint to use at home and school. Students can use these tools to work on projects, share resources, and collaborate in real time with their peers and teachers.

Additionally, we prioritize online safety via our e-safe policy, teaching students to understand how to use technology responsibly and respectfully. Our digital learning practices are aligned with our commitment to providing a well-rounded education that nurtures both academic growth and personal development in the digital age.
