School Events

As per our calendar, below is a more detailed description of school events.

House Sports

Students represent their houses and work their way through a variety of tailor made events for each age group. We split the school into three groups: Grade 1 & 2, Grade 3 & 4 and Grade 5 & 6, focussing on fun, participation and for the older students the opportunity to represent C.G.P.S. in the Athletics squad.

Cross Country

Students from Grades 4, 5 and 6 test their aerobic and endurance by running a course set around the school, earning house points for simply participating. The top 10 from each age group then have the chance to represent C.G.P.S. at the District Cross-Country meet.

M.A.D. Day

Make a Difference (M.A.D.) is a day where we come together, dressed in eccentric outfits that make no sense at all, and parade around the basketball courts in our year levels in front of the school. We ask the students for a gold coin donation that goes towards the Starlight Foundation.
